The Costa Tropical and other places such as Castell de Ferro, Calahonda, Marina del Este and La Herradura are a paradise for divers. The richness of its sea and the beauty of natural landscapes make these places truly amazing.

There are many beaches along the coast of Granada that are more cut off, especially in the area of Almuñécar. Here there are many boulders and hills, which create cliffy and rocky areas in the sea, ideal for diving. Some great places include Punta de la Mona, Tres Picos, the Cueve de Cerro Gordo, the Grutas de Cantarriján, the Piedras Altas and Paraje Natural Acantilados de Maro-Cerro Gordo in La Herradura Nature Reserve Cliffs of Maro-Cerro Gordo in La Herradura, which has amazing light.

Valuable sea grass meadows grow in these depths that cover an area of 395 hectares, formed by erosion.
