’Tía Marina Habichuela’
María Carmona, better known as Tía Marina Habichuela, was born in Láchar, Granada, in 1911. She was the sister of Tío José Habichuela, and the aunt of the guitar players Juan, Pepe, Luis and Carlos Carmona. She was one of the best dancers of Granada styles such as the zambra and Graná tangos. She died in 1990 in the Sacromonte district.
