Pinos del Valle is situated in the shade of Monte Chinchirina, on the top of which stands the Ermita de Santo Cristo del Zapato. It belongs to the municipality of El Pinar, which is divided into two distinct parts: the Barrio Alto (where the town hall is) and the Barrio Bajo, where the parish church is located. The neighbourhood of Eras has some of the best views over the Béznar reservoir and the surrounding area.
