Celebrations

They are known with the name of Winter Celebrations. The most popular act takes place the 31st of January, eve of San Cecilio. That day men go to the field with their horses and they get rid of the bushes which they will use later to lit the “chisco”, a big communal fire. When they finish the work they refill energies with herrings, wine and bread. The religious acts in honour of the saints are present, as well as the recreational activities as the games and the night party.
