This gastronomic contest is celebrated the second Saturday of May. Using the gastronomy wealth of the county and the tradition in the preparation of the choto, the Sorvilan City Council organizes every year this peculiar contest. Chefs coming from the entire Andalucia prepare their recipes of choto at the main square with the firewood given by the organization. Fifteen participants show their cuisine skills to the five members of the jury and the rest of the audience who taste the stews and the excellent wine of the region provided by the villagers.
