This modern building was built on a hill in the outskirts of the town by the artist Miguel Ruiz Jiménez and is also used as a workshop. The pavilion building is a work of art itself: it is one of the most eye-catching and impressive buildings in Jun.
Inside is the statue ‘Hombre Arco’ by the well-known sculptor and ceramicist. It is a gigantic sculpture made of iron and ceramic, which weighs ten tons and is ten metres high and twelve metres wide. It is often referred to as ‘the colossus of Jun’ and is one of the most impactful pieces Ruiz Jiménez has created. Other works of art by the artist can also be seen here, including replicas of the famous Vasos de la Alhambra.
