The Dehesa of Santa Fe is located 5 kilometres from the town, in the southern part of the municipality of Santa Fe. It borders the municipalities of Chimeneas and Las Gabias to the south, the municipality of Vegas del Genil to the east and the municipality of Chauchina to the west. This nature reserve offers leisure activities, both in Santa Fe and in all surrounding areas.
The park is a publicly owned common whose title deed dates back to 1492, to the time of the Catholic Kings when they were distributing houses and land. As a public piece of land the park belongs to the town hall of Santa Fe.
The woodland is made up of holm oak trees and some Aleppo pine trees.
