Monuments

This church dates back to the 16^th century and was built on the site of another church. The parish church has undergone a number of restoration projects over the years, particularly in the 17^th century. It is dedicated to St. Ildefonsus, patron saint of Peligros. The building is rectangular in shape and divided into two sections. Inside you can see the original 16^th-century structure. The golden Baroque altarpiece that presides over the main altar dates back to 1755. The church also has a number of valuable wood carvings and an image of the Virgin of the Rosary attributed to Risueño.
