This church dates back to the 16th century and was built on the site of another church. The parish church has undergone a number of restoration projects over the years, particularly in the 17th century. It is dedicated to St. Ildefonsus, patron saint of Peligros. The building is rectangular in shape and divided into two sections. Inside you can see the original 16th-century structure. The golden Baroque altarpiece that presides over the main altar dates back to 1755. The church also has a number of valuable wood carvings and an image of the Virgin of the Rosary attributed to Risueño.
