Monuments

This palace was built on the site of an old medieval castle. According to the legend written on a plaque that is on display here, the castle was seized from the Moors by the first Marques of Dílar on 24^th of October 1491. By the 19^th century it had almost completely fallen to ruin. However, a century later, a descendant of the Marquises of Dílar reconstructed it and repaired most of the building.
