This palace was built in 1506 by Enrique Enríquez, uncle of the Catholic Kings. It has numerous Mudejar coffered ceilings that are richly decorated and it is a magnificent example of a Renaissance palace inspired by the Italian country house. Throughout its history it has undergone many changes and restorations.
