Capilla Real Museum

LoadingAdd to My Granada

This museum is situated in the Sacristy of the Royal Chapel and is connected to other important buildings, including the Lonja (where you enter the museum), the Cathedral and the Iglesia del Sagrario church.

The museum is mainly made up of artefacts of the Catholic Kings, and Emperor Charles V and Empress Elizabeth. The objects are all very different and include jewellery, relics, ornaments, books, tapestries and paintings. Two of the most interesting pieces are the crown of Isabella of Castile and the sword of Ferdinand of Aragon.

Here is also a magnificent collection of Flemish panels belonging to Queen Isabella and a number of important ornaments from her reign.
