The Torre Mora was built in the 12th century in the Nasrid period. Although its original structure has been thoroughly renovated, the old castle tower is still preserved in perfect condition. It is located in the centre of the town.
This is a typical large farmhouse tower with battlements and windows. There is an interesting local manor house attached to it, which until the beginning of the century was the home to the Marquis de Salar, a direct descendant of Captain Hernán Pérez.
