It is the highest viewpoint in Granada. From here you get some amazing panoramic views of the city, the Albaicín district and its walls, the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada. You get to it after a long, steep walk, but the rewarding views are well worth the effort.
It is located by the Ermita de San Miguel Alto, a place of pilgrimage. On the 29th September each year the residents of the Albaicín quarter come here to take part in a procession carrying a picture of the Archangel Michael.
