Maruja García Beach, commonly called Maruja Beach.
Beach located in the area between Motril
and Torrenueva. Being somewhat far from
the main nucleus of Torrenueva the influx
of public is almost non-existent.
To get there it is essential to walk
from the parking lot to the west of Torrenueva.
The sand is fine and without seemingly rocks.
Its length is about 300 meters
and its width of 15 meters.
The beach refers to Maruja García,
a neighbor of the municipality
of Torrenueva Costa,
named in her honor on behalf
of all the working mothers
and grandmothers of the municipality.
