The slender tower of the parish church marks the heart of town. It stands on a hill that leads down to the banks of the Río Cacín. It was built in 1793 by Domingo Thomas. The roof, the pulpit and the sacred images, including one of Virgen del Rosario, were taken from the older church this one replaced.
