Monuments

Built in honour of Saint Anne, this church is located in the lower part of town, and houses a magnificent altarpiece created by Diego de Pesquera. The altarpiece is incomplete, because the remaining part is being exhibited in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. The part remaining in this church is an allegory of the Holy Family. The church has been declared an artistic historic monument.
