The Ermita de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores (depicted above) is located at the entrance of the town, while the one dedicated to San Antonio de Padua is amongst the cortijos (farmers’ buildings) of the Prado Negro, in the heart of the Sierra de Huétor. The Ermita de San Antonio de Padua was built by of the Marquise of Guadalcázar so that the farmers who lived in the cortijos on her estate fulfilled their obligation of going to mass.
