The Hacienda was built in the 17th century where Granada’s school of San Pablo de la Compañía de Jesús was situated. The old farmhouse was used as the headquarters for production control in the area. It also had a flourmill, stables, cellars and a winery attached to it.
After the expulsion of the Jesuits in 1777, it became the headquarters of the French in the War of Independence and again during the Civil War.
