This chapel was built in the Barrio Alto de Pinos del Valle district in the early 19th century on the site of an old chapel that dated back to the 17th century. It is considered one of the most interesting examples of neoclassical architecture in the province. It is a rectangular structure with three spacious naves. The central nave is covered by a barrel-vaulted ceiling with small windows, whilst the side naves have lower vaulted ceilings. Outside, the two side towers are of particular note – one of them is unfinished while the other is topped by the bell tower with a semi-circular dome.
