Monuments

This chapel was built in the Barrio Alto de Pinos del Valle district in the early 19^th century on the site of an old chapel that dated back to the 17^th century. It is considered one of the most interesting examples of neoclassical architecture in the province. It is a rectangular structure with three spacious naves. The central nave is covered by a barrel-vaulted ceiling with small windows, whilst the side naves have lower vaulted ceilings. Outside, the two side towers are of particular note – one of them is unfinished while the other is topped by the bell tower with a semi-circular dome.
