This chapel was built within the old Cortijo El Colmenar, which was donated to the Catholic Church in a legacy. On the feast of Our Lady of Pilar the inhabitants of Huétor Santillan take part in a pilgrimage to the shrine of the Virgin located in the neighbourhood of El Colmenar.
