This church dedicated to St. Nicolas is located in the historic Albaicín quarter, by the viewpoint Mirador de San Nicolás, where you can enjoy amazing views of the Alhambra. It was built on the site of a former mosque, of which only the cistern remains. This, together with the Iglesia de San Cristóbal, is the oldest Mudejar church in Granada.
The church has a single central rectangular nave with five side chapels on either side. The remains of the Gothic vaults are preserved by the altar.
