Celebrations

In the Mauraca or Chestnut Celebration, the villagers and visitors get together at the square where at night there is a big mauraca, a bonfire where they roast the chestnuts. There is a playful atmosphere along the night and it is tradition that they eat the roasted chestnuts and they drink anisette.
