Celebrations

The City council summons annually a contest in this date, with which they award the best crosses (altars and streets and squares decoration) made by the population in the different neighbourhoods of the town. In the evening, after celebrating a mass in the parish, there is a procession with the Santísimo carried over the shoulders passing by the altars built with the crossings. Throughout the day these Crosses are visited by the population and other visitors of neighbouring towns.
