At the end of August they celebrate in Jayena the celebration that commemorates the Virgen del Rosario. During theses days, in which the whole village gets decorated, they have many cultural, religious and musical events. The carving that represents the Virgen del Rosario is complete and it arrives to Jayena around 1941. It substitutes another one lots during the Civil War. The purchase of the carving was paid by a group of villagers, who like in many other times had to pay what the war took with it.
