This fortified enclosure is one of the most difficult to study and understand in the province. Although you may well come across fragments dating back to the 8^th century, this castle, allegedly of Andalusian origin, is the Romantic recreation of a castle, a style that was so popular in the late 19^th and early 20^th centuries.
