Medieval castle

LoadingAdd to My Granada

This castle dates back to the 12th – 13th centuries. Remains of the stone tower, a cistern, a barbican, and parts of an outer wall still remain today. This construction was part of a defensive network of buildings, which included the neighbouring castles such as the Castillo de Bácor and Castillo de Zújar as well as the two watchtowers in the town.
