Casa de los Fonseca

LoadingAdd to My Granada

This house belonged to Don Juan de Fonseca. To one side it is attached to the church with direct access to the choir stalls. The building dates back to the end of 16th century, but does have some later additions. The entrance is made of stone and bears the coat of arms of Fonseca, a reminder of the owner, who became Bishop of Guadix and participated in the Council of Trent.
