The Almazara de Paulenca is an old oil mill dating back to the 18th century that was fully operational until 1975. It is surrounded by caves dwellings, almond tress and olive trees, and has stunning views of the Sierra Nevada to the north.
It was restored and turned into an interactive oil museum, where visitors can have a try on the machines. It also has a restaurant with a large outdoor patio.
The farmhouse has been renovated and now has 7 double bedrooms with bathroom, two living rooms and a shared kitchen.
During your visit you will also have the opportunity to taste and buy the local olive oil and wine.
