This anejo of Moclín has more than one thousand inhabitants and it is located between the towns of Pinos Puente and Colomera, between the Marques and the Moclín Mountain ranges. Its closest origins go back to the XVI century when the villagers went to mass to the hermitage of Angustias. Its existence as human settlement, nevertheless, begins in the Prehistoric period, sharing its history with the other settlements of the area. It is a calm town where the sound of the water of the Velillos river, which crosses the town in its reduction from the mountain ranges, can be heard.
