La Teja is located 12 kilometres away from the Cazorla Mountain range and 15 from the Natural Park of the Castril Mountain range. It is surrounded by four reservoirs that constitute the main deposit of the Guadiana Menor. The most important celebration is the Dia de la Cruz, which is celebrated the 3rd of May.
