This anejo is located about 4 kilometres to the west of Pinos Puente. The Cubillas and the Velillos rivers flow very near and by its land they join before ending at the Genil. Historically, it appears for the first time in some writings of the fertile plain in 1472 as “Dar-Al-Yidid”. The big house known as La Tower, in which an order of Agustinos monks was located towards 1600, stands out.
