Calahonda enjoys a privileged location that turns it into an attractive for tourists. It has an equipped beach of great contrasts; they have areas with tourist facilities built, and other virgin areas with abundant vegetation. It is a beach in which it is possible to practice the diving and the fishing.
A stroll by the beaches of Calahonda will take you to the remains of the Carchuna Castle. It is a Christian construction from the end of the XVII century raised as a fortress of defensive type.
