Granada’s art and culture

Viewpoints in Granada

You can get to know Granada by wandering through its narrow streets, trying the tapas in its bars or visiting its monuments, but there is also another way to explore and understand the city, namely by enjoying the amazing views from its many viewpoints (miradores).

The view from the Mirador de San Nicolás, with the Alhambra in the background, is found on hundreds of postcards. From the Mirador de los Carvajales and the Mirador de Santa Isabel la Real you can see an amazing panorama of domes and towers. From the Mirador de San Cristóbal you’ll see the snowy peaks of the Sierra Nevada, the fertile plains and the city walls.
