Tourist information

This village in Loja is an important tourist hotspot because of its peaceful atmosphere, its trout and sturgeon production and its fantastic restaurants and hotels. Porra, Migas, the homemade desserts and the amazing and varied trout dishes are the highlights of the local cuisine. However, it is the Beluga-standard caviar, produced organically on a farm in the Sierra Nevada, its biggest attraction. It is the only caviar of such a high quality that is produced in Spain. It is exported to over ten countries and is already recognised as one of the best in the world.

Tourists have the opportunity to stay one of the most amazing areas in Spain, in the luxurious La Bobadilla Hotel. It is a relaxing and comfortable hotel where you will be able to enjoy excellent food, sports and entertainment. It is built in typical Andalusian style and is set in a beautiful natural setting.

Other reasons to visit this town are trout fishing, a 16th-century bridge, the Ermita de San Isidro and the Puente del Barrancón. There is also an interesting museum exhibiting carriages and horse stables, where exhibitions and rides for visitors are also organised.
