Guajar Fondón, one of the three towns that make up the municipality of Los Guájares, is located on the right bank of the Río de la Toba, 263 metres above sea level. It has just 464 inhabitants. Its church is an interesting example an early Mudejar religious building. It has Gothic arches and a single nave. It also has a lovely coffered ceiling. It was renovated in the late 18th century respecting the original Moorish features.
