This is in the Southern wall of the fortress next to the Pillar of Carlos V, and nowadays is the main entrance to the Alhambra. The façade has a large horseshoe arch, with a hand engraved on the exterior, considered by some to be an amulet and by others to be a symbol of the Koran. The exit gateway also has a horseshoe arch and a lovely decoration of tiles.
